I’m going to list features of Blogger software as I learn about them. Here’s what I have so far:
- No RSS feed allowed with restricted membership
- Option for search engines to find blog
- Option to add blog to Blogger’s listing
- Option for Email notification of members
- Option to schedule future posts
- Option to upload pictures or videos, and to position them on the blog page

Blogger.com (may be repeating some of what Nancy posted earlier):
Interface – end user: relatively easy in terms of configuring colors, font, etc, but haven’t been able to figure out adding ISD logo and a title so that don’t overlap.
RSS – YES (but if restrict to private IP addresses, then No)
Preview Post – YES
Categories – Postings allow for a Label to be added but can configure/show Labels with title edited to Categories (lables)?
Ease of Use – relatively Easy/simple
Can you limit by IP Range – and how affects RSS – YES but no RSS feeds
Can moderate posts and comments – NO to posts (do we the
administrators need to have our Posts moderated) and YES to comments
Will they host – YES, free
Link from short article to longer one: unable to determine this functionality – could it lie within HTML coding scheme?
